Health and Safety Policy Statement
- It is the policy of Kyoob Space Limited to comply with the terms of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Health and Safety at Work regulations 1992 and subsequent legislation, and to provide and maintain a healthy, and safe working environment.
- It is Kyoob Space policy to do all that is reasonable to prevent personal injury and damage to property and protect everyone from foreseeable work hazards.
- In particular Kyoob Space recognise a responsibility:-
- to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, including access and egress for staff, taking account of any statutory requirements. Also the safe storage and handling of substances and equipment.
- to provide training and instruction so far as is reasonably practicable to enable employees to perform their work safely and efficiently.
- to make available all necessary safety devices and protective equipment and to supervise their use.
- to maintain a constant and continuing interest in Health and Safety matters applicable to Kyoob activities.
- a commitment to achieving its aims and objectives by the full participation and co-operation of all.
- All electrical equipment and systems will be installed and maintained so as to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1990.
- Employees have a duty to co-operate in the operation of this policy:-
- by working safely and efficiently at all times.
- by using the relevant equipment provided, and meeting statutory obligations.
- by reporting incidents that have led, or may lead to injury or damage.
- by adhering to Kyoob procedures agreed on their behalf for securing a safe work place.
- by assisting in the investigation of accidents with the object of introducing measures to prevent a recurrence.
- by operating equipment in accordance with procedures laid down by manufacturers and the management.
This Health and Safety Policy is regularly reviewed to keep up to date with new legislations and any changes communicated to all employees
